The Willows at Sawdays

Your Norfolk holiday starts here!

Just 3 miles from the North Norfolk coast The Willows holiday cottage is ideally located for your Norfolk holiday adventures. Situated in the sleepy rural hamlet of Lower Street near Cromer, the cottage has been refurbished to a very high standard and offers luxury accommodation at an affordable price. Whether you want to explore the famous Norfolk heritage coastline or head inland to The Broads, The Willows Cottage is the perfect base to return to each evening. The village is well served with a local pub that serves excellent food, a village shop and a post office. The Willows Cottage is available Friday to Friday.

The Cottage

Once two dwellings dating back 180 years, The Willows Cottage is now a quiet Norfolk holiday cottage – delightfully quirky two-bedroom brick & flint cottage boasting two large bedrooms, two staircases and two Inglenook fireplaces. Outside there is off-road parking and a garden.

The Willows Cottage is owned by David Sewell whose love of Norfolk and interest in photography and wildlife are reflected in the many photographs and books in the cottage. Much of the original artwork in the cottage is by talented family and friends, not to mention the carving by David’s younger brother in the Twin room and the cottage sign.

Located next to The Willows is Southrepps Social Club (unlicensed). The Club is mainly used for carpet bowls and bingo which can mean that the car park across the road may be filled and people will be using the Cottage driveway for pedestrian access. There is no alcohol license so the visitors are usually well behaved (their average age is at least 70, but this is Norfolk!)
